It all started with just one plant. My mom and I went to Home Depot and purchased a beautiful Monstera plant. We didn’t really have any houseplants at the time and after reading a book that mentioned the benefits of having plants, I really wanted to own one. A few weeks in, we purchased more and more plants from fruit plants (blueberries and raspberries) to beautiful house plants. Soon, I was looking on Facebook Marketplace trying to find local plants that needed rehoming. I discovered Alocasias and the various variegations and became hooked. Soon I was experimenting with tissue culturing and now it’s become a full blown passion.
